Overdrive Interactive’s Harry Gold & Bob Cargill Shine, Opening & Closing NEDMA’s 2014 Direct Marketing Innovations Symposium

Yesterday, March 13, 2014, the New England Direct Marketing Association (NEDMA) held its annual Direct Marketing Innovations Symposium at the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) in Cambridge, MA. Each year, this event brings together direct marketers from a variety of industries and mediums, ranging from consumer goods to industry solutions, direct mail to inbound digital marketing. While the content presented at the conference differs significantly each year, the objective always remains the same: to bring together the best and the brightest from the direct marketing world, and devote a day to the exploration of the latest tactics and technologies with which both B2B and B2C marketers must be familiar. An all-day event, this year’s symposium opened with a keynote presentation, featured 8 individual or partnered sessions, and wrapped up with a three-person panel. Speakers represented companies ranging from Millennial Media, to ThriveHive, to Data-Mail, Inc., and more.

Overdrive shone at the symposium, providing the day’s opening session and moderating the closing panel. Overdrive’s Founding CEO,  Harry J. Gold, greeted the crowd with his keynote session, entitled Digital + Direct Mail: Turning the Virtual into the Physical with Marketing Automation. By addressing issues that concern B2B and B2C marketers, direct mail and strictly digital marketers, Gold started the day by making everyone feel welcome and assuring all attendees that their interests and objectives would be met.
