Samsonite wanted a creative way to increase the size and increase the engagement levels of their Facebook community. Overdrive developed a custom contest platform and campaign to do just that.

Overdrive crafted dozens of Facebook ads that targeted likely buyers throughout the network, to help increase awareness and the size of the participating community.
Facebook Contest: Gated Entry Tab
Overdrive designed and developed this customized Facebook tab to not only promote the attributes of the contest, but to also feature a winners list updated in real time.
Visitors were invited to “Like” Samsonite to enter.
Facebook Contest: Registration Tab
Entering the contest was very easy, through the registration tab.
In addition to entering the contest, Overdrive embedded functionality to encourage users to opt-in to the Samsonite email program – yielding a lasting marketing asset for the client.
Facebook Contest: Celebrate the Share!
Upon completing the registration form, users were encouraged to share the contest/sweepstakes, thereby adding a viral component that generated hundreds of thousands of free impressions and additional contest entrance.
Facebook Contest: Thank You Tab
Once registered for the contest, entrants were greeted with a Thank You tab that actively encouraged them to shop for Samsonite products online.
All entrants received an email that not only thanked them for participating, but also presented them with an immediate opportunity to shop Samsonite products at a discounted price.
During the course of the sweepstakes campaign – which lasted only 15 days – the campaign generated significant value in both the size of Samsonite’s Facebook community and continuing engagement levels.
Overdrive’s integrated approach also helped to sell thousands of products.
