Overdrive Interactive Receives Webby Award for IT Hardware/Software Web Site

By

Overdrive Interactive, a Boston-based full service online marketing agency specializing in lead generation, brand building and customer acquisition as well as website development, today announced that the web site they designed and developed, http://www.ntp-systems.com/, was recognized as Webby Worthy in the IT Hardware/Software category of The 2005 Webby Awards, the leading international honor for web sites.

“As a result of the exceptional quality of submissions this year, for the first time ever, the 9th Annual Webby Awards is recognizing the sites, and the teams behind them, that demonstrate a standard of excellence,” commented Tiffany Shlain, founder and chairperson of The Webby Awards. “Of the more than 4,000 entries submitted to the 9th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 20% were deemed Webby Worthy. This honor signifies an outstanding caliber of work.”

A corporate site, http://www.ntp-systems.com/is focused on Symmetricom’s network time synchronization product line such as network time servers, network time synchronization software and time displays. These solutions aid in providing secure and accurate time on IT enterprise systems.

The Webby Awards are determined by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a global organization with a membership that includes musician David Bowie, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, The Body Shop president Anita Roddick, “Simpsons” creator Matt Groening, Real Networks CEO Rob Glaser, and fashion designer Max Azria.

“We are delighted to be recognized with the prestigious Webby Award. To be recognized by a jury of your peers is definitely validating and an acknowledgement of the great work that Overdrive is doing on behalf of our clients.” commented Ty Velde, Director of Client Services.
