Social Media

Summary

A member of AIG and a provider of risk insurance for businesses, legally Lexington Insurance was unable to directly promote their services on social media. They came to Overdrive to build an engaging social presence that positioned Lexington as a thought leader with insurance brokers and category enthusiasts by providing natural disaster updates and risk management tips.

Natural Disaster Tips Social Campaign

A series of designs with icon identifiers was created and posted on social as a way to subtly advertise the business lines they covered without crossing over into promoting services.

Asset Creation

Infographics for Hurricane Season forecasts, individual hurricane stats, and disaster preparation tip sheets were created as downloadable PDFs for promotion organically on social. Content from these sheets was used to create individual social designs as well.

Company News Social Designs

Social designs and posts were created for internal employee promotions, interviews, and thought leadership quotes. These posts far outperformed all other social content, especially on LinkedIn.

Event Promotion & General Announcements

Designs were created to promote in-person and digital events, pertinent information regarding Lexington and their affiliates, and general factoids on social, including webinars for AIG that were of interest to Lexington’s target audience.

Holiday Social Designs

Holidays and social holidays like #WorldPasswordDay allowed for more creative designs that allowed for a more human side of Lexington’s brand personality to shine – and enabled subtle call outs to their product offerings.
