Boston Globe Names 4 Overdrive Interactive Clients to 2013 List of “Top Places to Work” in Massachusetts
Overdrive Interactive is pleased to announce that four of our clients were named to the Boston Globe’s 2013 list of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts! Released yesterday, Sunday, November 17th, this sixth annual installation of the list drew from a survey that was performed collaboratively with employee-survey firm WorkplaceDynamics, and contained responses from more than 76,000 employees from 333 area organizations. The list was determined by employees’ ratings of their companies’ performance in six areas: direction, execution (confidence in leadership), connection (employee appreciation), manager/employee relationships, training received, and pay and benefits.
Broken into four categories, the list recognized the top 25 largest employers, top 35 large employers, to 40 medium employers, and top 25 small employers in the state. Watertown-based Bright Horizons, which offers child care and early education services in not only Massachusetts, but also across the country and in the Netherlands and the UK, received the highest honors in the “Largest employers” category! Cambridge-based Akamai Technologies and Hopkinton-based EMC Corp. were also recognized in this category for their commitment to their respective 1,267 and 9,300 Massachusetts employees. In the “Medium employers” category, Holyoke-based Samsonite Corp. received recognition for its 144 Massachusetts employees’ high ratings of their work environment.
Overdrive Interactive would like to applaud these companies, as well as the other 121 that were honored by the Boston Globe and all of their respective employees! We are proud to work with companies that value their employees and treat them so well, and look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with such exemplary organizations in the future.
