In such cases, the infographic links to either a Google announcement regarding the acquisition or a relevant Wikipedia post or technology news site.
The Google World infographic will clearly become out of date, as Google is constantly acquiring new companies and launching new services and technologies. Over 120 of Google’s acquisitions made over the last 12 years are represented in the infographic.
